With the objective to uphold and sustain the professionalism in spa and wellness industry, Malaysia Spa and Wellness Awards enable the operators and professionals of spa and wellness centres to keep up their standard as well as enhancing their knowledge in order to remain its competitiveness in the said industry.

Furthermore, Malaysia Spa and Wellness Awards serve as a guide to tourists and/or clients by identifying the top spas and wellness centres in Malaysia. Again, it will strengthen the tourism industry in Malaysia and bring in more revenues to the mentioned industries.

 Are nominations confidential?
All information, including financial information are used strictly for the purpose of verification and authentication by the Organisers. This information is not shared with any external party except for the appointed auditors. All mystery visits, reports and reviews, discussion and deliberation minutes are kept confidential, and will not be released to any outside party, including nominees. As such, whether you win or otherwise, your information is kept confidential.However, by submitting your nomination, you agree to allow the auditors and/or the Organisers to perform such checks and audits as deemed appropriate. Additionally, the Organisers will use your names and official profiles in press and publicity activities should you win the Awards.

What do winners receive?
Winners receive the coveted Malaysia Spa & Wellness Awards 2008 trophy, a Certificate of Achievement and such prizes as may be provided by sponsors during the Gala Dinner and Awards Night. More importantly, winners receive the ultimate recognition as being in a class of their own -the crème de la crème of spas and wellness centres in Malaysia.

How are the Awards financed?
Organising an Awards of this nature requires substantial financing to cover expenses which include, but not limited to, the mystery visits (transportation, flight, accommodation, meals, allowances), audit fees, Secretariat staff salary and overheads, trophies,Gala Dinner (event managers’ fees, sound and lighting, entertainment, food and beverage, venue costs), press and public relations, communication materials and printing, postages and courier.The Awards are financed by sponsors and through the sales of dinner tables, exhibit space and advertisements. These sponsorships are not compulsory, and will in no way affect your chances of winning. Any sponsorship should be on the basis of your support for this project.
